Armory

Polemos has launched the world’s first fully developed game asset lending protocol known as the Armory.

Non-collateralized asset lending is a crucial element in the evolving landscape of ownership games, enabling players to share items within the community without permanently trading them away. The Armory allows players to try out in-game items before committing to a purchase, bolstering their confidence in their decisions. Moreover, it empowers item holders — who often invest significant time or money in a game and are among its most valuable players — to earn rewards from the community by sharing their in-game assets.

The Polemos Armory, a core part of this ecosystem, offers three main services:

Asset Renting

Community members can rent game assets for a specified duration using USDC or credit card payments, with plans to integrate PLMS as a payment method in the future, enhancing their gaming experience by accessing exclusive cosmetics and gameplay items that would otherwise be unavailable.

Asset Staking

A unique feature within the Polemos ecosystem, the Armory allows individual assets, typically NFTs from select games, to be staked into dedicated pools, enabling asset providers to earn yields through token rewards. These rewards are generated from asset utilization in renting and scholarship programs.

Scholarships

To support players interested in blockchain gaming, Polemos and Guilds using Polemos Forge offers scholarships programs. These programs are selectively available for specific games and vary periodically.
